Well I am very happy to say Thanks to my Darling Family that I am the Proud Owner of the very first D3S to come into Far North Qld. What a Camera I have read so much about them & what they say is so true the things it can do. Its going to take me months to learn how to drive it. When I start putting the Nikon pics on here I will let ya know. I would like to Thank; Stephen of Camera Pro in Brisbane for his help in me requiring the only one he had left. And the help he has given me so far. (No Stephen I will not Swap Cameras) Nice try tho.
Laurie of Doug Kemp Camera House in Townsville for the lenses. Its a long story why so many people got involved. It would make a good book. Thanks Family.

Long Way Round
These boys came from. South Australia, Queensland, NSW. They all towed their boats to Cooktown then drove the cars & trailers all the way over to Wepia then flew back to Cooktown. Then the fun started 950km of it. After a nights rest they are seen refueling their boats ready to set off on their last leg to Wepia. They said they have had some stops on the way up as the weather wasnt helping them but thats Boating. One of them is coming back with a tagalong group in late july if you are interested in tagging along their web site is.www.boatalong.com or ph (07)32635925. Be sure to tell them that you got it off here.
Scotland is Home
Ken is all the way from Kent UK. He said he loves to come over here & come all the way up Seisia just to do something he loves "Fishing"
He reckons we are very lucky here to have such a Top Wharf as over there in some place's you will pay up $6000.00 a day to fish.
And you never get such large fish as he was. Yes he said "I Shall Return". Till next time Ken

Nice Catch
Two ladies with 3 nice Queenfish off the low landing. The wharf has been supplying a few nice fish of late. This is good to see as its getting into the Tourist Season. Then you should see the Wharf (no you can't see it for people).I haven't come across anybody that hasn't gone home with a feed for tea. Lets hope its the same this year. I will be posting pictures in my Fishing Link.
New Man in Town
Well its good to see our new Doc is just as mad as we are. Didn't take him long to get onto the Wharf & get his first Queenfish. We all hope he has a long and enjoyable stay up here. Well done Doc

Bringing Home Tea
30 Minutes of Sheer Madness
Dave was getting a little Bored when he thought that he would put out 2 rods. (Silly Silly) Well what a mistake that was.
Within 5 minutes of doing that there was one loud Noise that any Fisho knows closely followed by another.
Not sure to which rod he was going to pick up & what he was going to do with the other rod as both
rods was looking like they were about to take off to Thursday Island as the fish was just about there. Well as luck would have it
Michael was there to help (bottom photo) & after 30 minutes of Sheer Madness Dave landed this very nice GT.
No! Not a Grand Tourer. Well some times you could call em that. They were a nice pair of Giant Travallys.
Another nice catch off the Seisia Wharf. Well done fellas.
